Kuta Beach is the most famous beach in Bali, and the only surf that breaks over sand rather than coral. Bustling Kuta is traditionally the initial port of call for first-time visitors to Bali,
and especially for those who love to surf or want to learn. Here,
within a dance network of teeming alleyways and busy streets, are
inexpensive hotels, lively bars, tattoo artist, hawkers, tourist knick –
knacks are a range of attire targeting tourists who love the beach.
Increasingly, the are more refined establishments springing up to
challenge the cheap and cheerful image, but the Kuta spirit remains young at heart.
